I really hate our helmet.
The "C" is on the front for what purpose, exactly? Just enlarge the "C", keep it on the side (maybe angle it a tad to account for the size change), and give the helmet a matte finish. Done. Simple but updated.

how about shrink the c and place it on the plastic sleeve where the face mask attaches to the helmet or just leave it off all together

Pretty hideous. They look like bowling balls. The packer one looks like some sort of skin disease. Or chicken pox perhaps.

The Chargers helmet is fantastic. I love the Giants one with the NY skyline, the Lions and the Raiders. The Dolphins/Bucs is pretty cool.

I liked the white helmet that one dude mocked up when they were transitioning between uniform companies. It wouldn't work with all of the uniforms but as an alternate look it's pretty cool (I know, the NFL doesn't allow alternate helmets, but since this is all unrealistic anyways); it's simple, but a nice change up from the Navy with Orange C we've had my whole life.
