"The Boston Celtics also won 3 out of 4 against Miami during the regular season."
OK, lets just go back and revisit the season for some relevant facts.
Boston's games came against Miami on Oct 26, Nov 11, Feb 13, and Apr 10.
Three of Bostons 4 games against Miami were before the all star break. The Heat were barely .500 after their first 17 to 20 games. Boston played them twice during this time.
Now lets look at when Chicago played Miami: Jan 15, Feb 24, and Mar 6. Two of Chicago's 3 games against Miami came after the all star break.
So these constant remarks are neglecting to consider that Boston caught them twice very early in the season and actually lost their most recent meeting in an ugly game. We also played Boston late in the season and played a so-so game and won by 17. Boston was barely .500 towards the end of the season and they played the worst team in the playoffs (the Knicks).
I dont understand why Boston is some reference point for how Miami will do against Chicago.
