If you are real, can you also please allow @gus to post in locked threads? But maybe fix the DDOS issue first... not that i'm telling you how to do your new job.

But srs Rush, the hosting can't be the main problem.

The software must be 10+ years old.

Databases underneath are probably 10+ years old.

Might be time to look at a real update of the platform.

I'm not saying this is a bad suggestion or anything, but maybe the time when the site is taking 17 years to load a webpage isn't the most optimal time to be making "game changing" suggestions. My mans Anthony has enough on his plate at the atm.

This forum sits on top of a Windows Server 2000 machine that hosts a series of MS Access 1998 database files.

Hoping to upgrade to MS Access 2003.

Deleting a bunch of shit over time with VBulletin usually fubars things in the end. Posts, user accounts, etc.

If using VBulletin, make a Bit Bucket forum to dump the dreck so you aren't deleting and screwing up linkages.
