Any Plumbers in the house?

I have a shower that just won't get warm. The sink, about 3 ft away from it, gets hot quickly, but the shower doesn't get warm enough to take an uncomfortable shower in.

Anyone got any advice?

Could be a blockage in your hot water pipes near your water heater that's preventing it from flowing to your tub. That'd be my guess on what it is. As for advice? I'd call a plumber. LOL

is the water pressure lower when hot water is turned on? That would show the signs of blockage, if it was the same pressure as cold, or even more pressure, then no blockage.

Along with blockage, it could be the valve.

There is no way to troubleshoot the problem in theory without having a concept of the utility survey(like a schematic/blueprint of the non-insulation stuff in your walls).

Anti skald feature can sometimes cause this to occur, there is an adjustment on that in most modern shower/tub fixtures... But reversed piping is obviously the issue. Good to hear you fixed it.
