After seeing the workout thread it looks like we have a few gym goers in here. Im wondering if any of you guys use supplements or have any interest in them?

I used to be obsessed with them years ago when i was into body building. Anyone currently use any supplements or have any experience with supplements that they'd like to share? I thought it would be something random to talk about.

Im trying to be more dedicated in the gym. Its been tough since i moved up north. Its so cold and im always wearing jackets and eating these hot and hearty meals that are horrible for you. There really hasnt been much of a dedication since im not longer living near the beach and hanging out outside with my friends all the time. But its a new year and new me. Doing so much massage that im falling apart and the gym must be a religious habit in '11.

With all of that said i ordered some new supplements to start out with.

*USPlabs Jack3d, lemon lime flavor.-Pre-workout supplement
*Gaspari Nutrition MyoFusion, 5LBs, Cookies and cream.-protein
*Scivation Xtend, 418g, Blue Rasberry-BCAAs
*Gaspari Nutrition SuperPump MAX, 160g, Fruit Punch Blast-Pre-workout supplement(got it free with the MyoFusion purchase)
*Optimum Nutrition Mircronized Creatine Mono powder, 300g
I also ordered a 5LB tub of protein from truscience.com, the Chocolate covered banana flavor. Already on my shelves i had a 5lb ON 100% Whey double chocolate, 5lb Now carbogain, 2 2lb Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide 2.0 protein jubs banana cream and chocolate peanut butter. Both of those are basically 1 or 2 servings from being finished. And no matter what my lifestyle is, Now Adam multivitamin is taken twice a day, everyday.

So if anyones interested and would like me to run a quick log on any of the supplements or have any questions, let me know. Im interested to hear anyone intake on supplements they are taking or once took.

I use to spend $200 a month on Supps.... I have since found that a great mutli-vitamin pack and a high end protien suppliment are all I need.

I use Pro Complex protein and GNC Mega Men Mutli Vitamin. All the nox boosters, creatine, fish oil, bbcs, and other shit I use to take did not give me enough performance for the price so I keep it simple now.

Back in the day when I was working out 7 days a week I drank an enormous bottle of weight gainer every day. It worked. I'm sure they've moved beyond that.

Some of the NOs work well. You can get a good cheap creatine. BCAAs is a luxury though. I love them.

I had the Rocky Road pro-complex years back. Loved that stuff but the price was outrageous. I used to get the GNC multis when i worked there. cant go wrong with that.

They still have a lot of weight gainers out there that are pretty good. I think people should just make their own though for a cheaper price.

Yea Pro Complex is priced high but they have a lot of aminos and other shit that is good it is like taking a few supps at once. Plus two servings is 130gs of protein, so I can get a quick recovery drink.

I am not saying the supps didnt work,NO_explode works just fine, but for the performance I got it was not worth the $$$$
