Does Verizon have an unlimited data feature for the iPhone? Just when I thought AT&T couldn't suck any more, they go and get rid of their unlimited data bundle for the iPhone. Now their only options are either a 2GB or 4GB a month plan for $25 and $45 respectively. Overages cost an additional $10 per every extra GB used. Now I don't know about you guys, but I can go through 2GB in about a week. I called AT&T's customer service hoping that the dude at the store simply got his facts wrong, but no such luck. The lady on the phone informed me that Wi-Fi use was still unlimited, and that I should try finding one of their "Hot Spots". I politely explained to her that while I do live a couple blocks north of a hospital that has free Wi-Fi, I didn't think the hospital staff (nor the police) would appreciate me watching porn and jerking off in their waiting room. She wasn't amused.

So what say you?

My buddy has one, and a few other friends have Verizon. From what they told me, Verizon now has capped data. But, older customers are grandfathered in with their unlimited data.

Well all kidding aside from my original post, how the hell are you gonna sell someone a smartphone and then only give them 2GB a month to use? All they do is use data, the freaking things use it even when they're just sitting on the kitchen table. Apparently AT&T has also capped data usage on the iPad, which makes even less sense. I dunno, this shit just has me pissed off.

Get fucked, AT&T.

Maybe you're not on your phone enough. My iPhone is the only internet access I have, so it adds up pretty quick.

I've had my iPhone since the summer of '09:

Sent: 6.5 GB
Received: 261 GB

So then Verizon does have an unlimited data plan?

So for those of you with little or no credit (like me), what was Verizon's security deposit like? I've read that it can go all the way up to $1,000, which seems completely ridiculous. I understand that the deposit amount varies from person to person based on their individual credit score, I'm just trying to ballpark what it would be for me based on feedback from current Verizon customers who are in the same boat credit-wise.
