I have a handful of songs I'd like to mix to create a long-ish song based off segments of the originals. Does anyone do this? Or know how?

ANY help would be appreciated.

Yes. And if you have hardware that doesn't support more than two simultaneous outputs, the trick is to just merge the two that you mixed into one, then add one file at a time. I hope you don't have hardware limitations.

And if you want the real deal, get soundforge. Soundforge is to audio, as photoshops is to pictures.
