Got it on Tuesday and have played for a couple of days.....the basic idea is that the old west of Red Dead Redemption has been taken over by flesh-eating zombies (just in time for Halloween), and it has a full single-player storyline to go along with it. You go along clearing out graveyards of corpses bursting out of the ground, saving innocents, and trying not to get bitten or pounded on by the zombies. Hell of a lot of fun. It's kind of like having a whole new game to play for the price of a download - pretty nice. Far better than those "packs" that just give you a few more options on multiplayer/online. Anyone else tried it out?

I downloaded it. Well worth the $10(or 800 microsoft points). I really like the multiplayer mode where you face waves of zombies. Haven't got far in the single player yet, mainly because Fable 3 is consuming most of my gaming time, but from what I played it's really cool.

I always wanted zombie DLC on GTA IV, but this will do.

I haven't tried the multi-player yet - I'll have to get to that eventually. I'm about 50% done with the single-player game right now. Gotta love the zombies - especially the ones that look like they're just going to run towards you normally, then drop to their hands and feet and run sideways at you like a wild animal! Thank God for "dead-eye" or I'd have no chance. Those buggers are hard to hit!

Without question. I like it especially as someone who's played the hell out of Red Dead and was looking for a new facet of the game to pique my interest.

Coolest thing I haven't mentioned on the thread yet: you have to hit the zombies in the head and blow their heads off, or you only stun them temporarily and they keep coming at you. If you don't have dead-eye when that happens, good luck! I've kind of done the run away, turn, and shoot manuever more than a few times when surrounded.

For some reason, once I cleared out what I had to do in Mexico (I won't give it away, for those of you who haven't downloaded yet), which was only about 55% into the game, I suddenly transported back to my home and became a zombie myself, and now I'm riding around on some mythical flaming horse ("War" from the four horsemen of the apocalypse) as a zombie, trying to "put my soul to rest".

Love the depth of the gameplay - like I said, this isn't a typical add on. Well worth the $10 and then some.
