Think about it....the Bulls had a 1.7% to get the top pick in 2008.

I would call it Fortunate Luck. Destiny even, that Rose would play for his home town/favorite team.

In essence, the Bulls ran away like they stole somethin'! :lol:

The funniest part of all is that in the same draft, Miami thought they were the most fortunate b/c the Bulls passed on this guy:

Actually that is not true. Riley wanted nothing to do with Beasley. He wanted Rose. I heard about that before the draft. To Riley, there was no debate. But then again, that was revenge of sorts for Miami taking Wade, who Paxson had on his radar...
