It is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early, but Detroit's pitching staff looks shaky and the Twins can't score many runs (although they are facing their arch-nemesis in the Yanks).

As I said, way too early but I don't care... every loss those two teams chalk up is a GOOD thing.

Good, so they'll be pestering more than just us.

This team wont be a pain in our ass alone, they will be a pain for the best of them.

This team is not far off from contending. If they can be exciting with their young players and make a little bit more money, they are a few FAs away from being damn good.

Texas, hitting like a beast as usual, is getting some good pitching early.

Is anyone watching this Sunday Night Yankees/Red Sox game?

Do you like that they are showing the "K-Zone" DURING the pitch? The announcers are in-love with it, comparing it to the yellow first-down line in football. I completely disagree. It is distracting and annoying. The yellow first down line is 10 yards down from the play. The action in baseball is right at home plate.

PLEASE don't let them get positive feedback on this. Horrible idea.

Yah.. Pretty impressive. Their offense has been rolling.

I doubt it will last for 162 games.. but who knows, look at the Padres last year.

If their offense stays on track, they could be around for a while in the Central, but I don't think their pitching will be able to hang around for 162 games. Outside of Carmona, they need somebody else to step up.

if there is any sleeper in the central it is the royals. I worry more about them than the indians

I agree. They swept the Tigers and have looked impressive thus far. I don't know if that's more on Detroit playing poorly or KC starting strong. Time will tell.
