Thanks for the share. White has the type of skillset that could make him very dangerous in the system Gase ran in Denver. I am sure he will incorporate some similar concepts in Chicago.

I would use this kid just like Minnesota uses Patterson. I'd have him line up at all three starting receiver positions, use him as a returner on ST, & out of the backfield on gimmick plays/reversals, & some carries in general. When I see White I see another player that's very similar to Patterson up in Minnesota

I'd rather he not see the field, on special teams..

When looking at his skillset I would suggest more of a Demaryius Thomas or Julio Jones type of role. Stretch the field vertically, crossing routes, inside slants, quick hits and screens.

I also wouldn't want our future #1 WR returning kicks. Last thing we need is for White to go down on special teams.

how does cutler fit gase offense lol

Hopefully by hitting a lot of wide open receivers that get open via rub routes/trash that the defense has to sort through to make a play. Having four receiving weapons to throw to should be a help to get this offense off the ground as immediate as possible.

Hopefully cutler doesnt decide that throw into the trash or into the belly of a 300 LB DT running backwards.

Yeah, it can't be understated how bad the offense was in this aspect last year. The Bears didn't have a ton of speed, but they had huge bodies in Marshall, Jeffery and Bennett. Trestman routinely ran them straight up the field and did not create any kind of confusion by crossing those huge bodies in the middle of the defense. He did nothing to help guys who can't naturally get open with wiggle in their routes. The Bears had to be near the bottom of the league in YAC last year.

Pick/rub routes aren't just for tiny, quick guys like Welker and Amendola. If two 6'3" WRs cut across the field, I don't care how slow they are....if DBs have to go around them, they're going to get open.

Patterson is the player you choose to use as a example?? You can do better than that please??

They still have the huge bodies with Alshon, White, Wilson and Bennett but now one of those big bodies has speed and we added a nice slot guy with quickness in E.Royal. Once again Cutler has no excuses which goes even more with the crew we have now cause they have more abilities. K.White and E.Royal will be great after the catch.
