I absolutely loved it. Having been a life long fan of the series, (and of Raimi/Campbell), it was so refreshing to have a TV show that is easy for fans like me and new fans to jump into. I really hope the series takes off and we get more than just the 1st season.

true story: 1st girl I ever dated; I took her to see "Army of Darkness" and thought I was going to get away with the "dick in the popcorn bucket" trick (I had been with her for months by this point).
