OK, whenever I shut off my PS3, I shut it off via the PS button on my controller, and when I turn it on again, it says I turned it off wrong. Been going on a couple of weeks.

****. I have PS3 for blue ray and I think I have one game. have you checked their forums or googled the issue?

That's because you have something installed on your PS3 that is hanging the shutdown, but the PS3's framework OS is mostly embeded, so it's able to force itself to shutdown safely. A firmware could fix it, or you might have some demo/app installed that is Special person.
