Being an Illini fan, it would be hard to cheer for the Bulls after what he did.

Porter or Musselman before him anyday. Sampson isn't exactly a model coach in any way. Bad seed, one which I hope Thibs will pass on.

Pay Eric Gordon money not to go to the Illini?

I dont even know who that is.

Well, I love this guy as a coach.

One day, he'll come into the NBA finally as an assistant, and I bet he'll get a HC job a few seasons later. He's not Coach of the Year material, he's championship material, but he'll probably win a COTY too, and he's going under everyone's radar, because front offices have loyalty to ex-NBA players for some reason.

Lol..I know..lazy moment.

Interesting resume. Dunno how he would be, but yeah some day looks like he'll get a chance in the NBA as an assistant first.

Adrian Griffin makes a lot of sense, every team needs a guy who can still connect to players on a more player like level. This is even more important when the coach isn't a former NBA player himself or was a former player to long ago in the past.
