WTF, Hendry needs to pay 13-16 million and get 2-3 mid level spects for Kosuke. Now that won't happen because he won't pay majorty. OK he will be the Cubs 5th OF and make the money anyways. Makes no sense.

This could make sense: 3 team deal:

Red Sox get:
OF Kosuke Fukudome
6 million fron Cubs

Twins or Rangers get:
3B Mike Lowell
8 million from Cubs

Cubs get:
1 or 2 spects from Red Sox

The money the Twins or Rangers get is now but the Red Sox get the cash next season. The Red Sox have had interest in Kosuke and the Twins and Rangers have had and still have interest in Lowell. And the Cubs get 1 or 2 spects from the Red Sox.

Well I would if I'm the owner. Kosyuke is now the 5th OF and he is going to get paid that anyways. If the Cubs want to trade Kosuke, they will have to eat around hald and majorty.

you really cannot say for sure that fuku is a 5th outfielder at this point. i agree colvin has played great in his sample size, i would play colvin the rest of the year and see what this kid is really about. if he busts you still have fuke.

What about Nady? He has been prducing in limited action. I had Sori, Byrd and Colvin as starters. Nady 4th OF and 1B. Kosuke 5th and in my mind will be traded. That is what I had and that is what it keeps looking like.

What are you talking about? Nady has actually produced below replacement level so far this season (3 runs worse than a readily available replacement), and that's only in 34 games. I get what he was brought in to be for this club (the 4th OF behind Soriano, Byrd and Fukudome), but now that Tyler Colvin is the guy for foreseeable future, Nady should no longer be the first option off the bench.

Not sure if someone already posted this but why do you have the Twins or Rangers getting money and Lowell and not giving up anybody? Who would you have them giving up? (I think I know why you didn't post that, but just curious who)
