So The Athletic does an article where they survey 33 agents around the league about different topics and GM's. Here's a few interesting tidbits:

1. Which team has best offseason?

Bucs had 11 votes.

1 vote for the Bears.

2. Which team had worst offseason?

Texans had 11 votes.

1 vote for the Bears.

3. Which GM is the best talent evaluator?

Chris Ballard with 10.5 votes. 14 different GM's got votes. Pace got ZERO.

4. Which GM do you trust the most?

Paton (broncos), Ballard and Berry (Browns) all got 3. Pace got one vote.

5. Which GM do you trust the least?

Howie Roseman got 7. BB got 6. Pace got one vote.

6. Which GM is the best?

Ballard got 10 votes. Brandon Beane (Bills) got 4 votes. Loomis (Saints) and Veach (Chiefs) got 3. 13 different GM's got votes. Pace got ZERO votes.

No one found this interesting? I especially thought it damming of Pace that 14 out of 32 GMs got at least one vote for best talent evaluator and Pace couldn’t even do that.

I think article explained a lot of what we already knew about the Bears/Pace.

There is only one profession that I don't trust more than politician.......that is sports agent...

That being said, what fucking agent said the Bears had the best offense...

I think most here feel that Pace is middle of the road at best.

Of course if Fields develops into a Top Ten perennial QB, Pace and Nagy will ride up in others evaluations too

Offseason….. not offense. Going to guess that was Dalton’s agent.

If you are being completely honest, all this proves is that the agents have no strong feelings for Pace overall one way or the other.

It's a bunch of agents, so I don't really care what they think. For example, I would take my GM (Veach) over Ballard every day of the week and twice on Sundays, but he's far behind him here. Maybe they like the GMs they can work over the most on contracts? I don't know what their criteria is, so it's hard to say.

Lets take a look at the facts(something you hate).

-This is a thread about Pace.
-It doesn't make him look good.
-I already posted in it and didn't even mention you. It would have been too easy.

and yet here you are inviting me to derail this thread. Nice to see you take time away from having complete emotional meltdowns over negs to come here and derail another thread. Great work. Gold star for the day!

Belichick had Brady, but he is a GM with 6 rings.

Brett Veach from KC drafted Mahomes, has 1 ring and has been in the last 2 super bowls.

Ballard is 32-32 over 4 years with 1 playoff win.

I have some doubts about this article.
