Hey guys.

I'm gonna do some shameless promotion here for a project a buddy of mine has been working on.

Over the last few months a good friend has been working for hours on turning a friend's backyard into a Haunted House.

In all honestly I thought it would be a bit of a weak imitation of what you see when you pay big bucks and go to something like Basement of the Damned or Statesville. **** I was wrong.

I checked it out last night and was thoroughly impressed. The scares we're good. The ambiance was well constructed. The actors' timing was perfect. Best of all: It's $5.

If you're looking for something to do in the spirit of the season I highly suggest checking it out. On top of that: It's all DIY. These guys planned, built and run this thing completely on their own time and dime.

Where: 204 S Glenwood, Aurora

Cost: $5 Donation

When: 7:30-10pm Fridays and Saturdays through Nov 1st

You can check out some info more in this article from the Beacon:

Yeah it's well constructed. Good scares and good attention to detail.
