With two more years on his 6M AAV deal? Probably not this year's deadline. Very likely they following deadline when his deal expires.

I was thinking that too. Maybe he’s producing at a high level and a contender sends a late 1st rounder for him & a mid-round pick

Maybe. I figure Hall is to Bedard what Lapointe was to Kane, or what Tikonov was to Panarin. By the expiry TDL, he might be worth something to a contender, like you assert.
