Pretty cool that D. Rose is getting that sort of recognition. Figured Rondo would win.

I agree that a team like Miami would be better served with Paul, same with Boston. Although the Lakers have a structured offense that doesn't need a point guard, that type of team with that level of talent would be better with Paul.

This is why I asked weeks ago is it possible for Rose to be the better player and Paul the better point guard...

D-Rose. I would have picked CP3 last year but Rose has developed into the #1 PG.

I do think Rose has past Paul and Williams. Paul may be more of a prototypical PG but Rose's scoring just gives him too much of an edge. He can do everything that a point guard should do and then some.

If his leg holds up, paul's the better distributor. rose is the better overall player.

Yeah. The thing about Rose and Paul is that they are really both pure point guards. I don't envision either of them playing the 2 very effectively on either end of the floor.

I think Rose can play off the ball well. I don't know if he can play SG for 35 minutes. But like Deron Williams, Rose is learning how to play without the ball.

not just that. rose can defend the 2 depending on the matchup. No he's not going to be great against kobe and stephen jackson in the post, but i imagine rose can gaurd most of the 2's in the league. He can definitely guard the shorter 2's in mayo and ellis. He can guard the less skilled 2's bogans. Also the 2 isn't a super deep position in the nba, so he can guard some of the players who aren't as skilled on the offensive. I'm not saying rose can guard a 2 35 minutes a game, but he can do it in stretches.
