We will test out this feature again. We have grown as a community to speak out freely, and I feel with the "like this" feature we will continue to lose that quality. Not that it is a big deal on such a minor feature, but I don't want to lose out on what has formed our community. Voice your opinion. There are a few perks to both and I will list them below:

-Freedom to effect reputation on the website

-Give your input without posting

I remember having the plus minus on the O Boards i thought is was good but all it took was one person with a personal agenda against you to ruin your good rep. Even the Nuck trolls would come on and minus ya for fun.

Here's the thing though there is no consequences for rep. Never once in any mod discussion have we pointed to someone's rep.



For me the plus minus buttons are just an easy way of saying agree or disagree, etc while not having to type anything. I might agree and have nothing to relevant to add to the conversation

To address Daze71s comments on top of Supra, Mods also keep an eye on the negatives for just that reason. We don't change anything, but we can take the feature away from folks we think may be abusing it. or we can just give a plus one if we think someone is being a dickback for no reason to offbalance it. It's really not a big deal as the most abuse it will get is in this thread.
