It’s good to have competition at every position. If your backup doesn’t want to play something is wrong and you need to upgrade that spot.

It's early days but all the reports I have read was both of them couldn't beat out Case. Pretty depressing when (so far) Case Keenan was your best QB.

He’ll have a QB battle on the depth chart alright. Won’t be for QB1. Case Keenum is going to push him to the practice squad spot, because Ben never kept more than 2 qbs on the 53 man for Detroit’s offense when he was there. Keenum isn’t Brett Rypien or Austin Reed, so I don’t see Bag-boy breezing through camp/preseason to QB2 spot like last year.
