Baker left game early on Sunday night against Boston.

#Cubs Baker left with strained left groin. He'll be re-evaluated Tues in Chicago

It is. If Mark Prior never got injured, we'd be in a much better position.

Byrd will probably be out for a long time. Jackson is expected to return soon and then I can see him getting the call. Let him play for about a week or so and call him.

yeah, thats the reason.

What I meant was that we've resorted to using James Russell as a starter because of them... not that we'd be good either way. But Russell as a starter is pathetic.

What's the word on Byrd? Lol didn't mean that to rhyme. I heard he may be done for the year. That'd be a shame.
