I am sure they play looked fine on paper...they all do, but the coaches have done a piss poor job of getting the players to execute them. When an entire team looks lost, its the coaches 100% of the time.

For a 5th round Pickwick, with 1 practice in pads, at a new position, in his first NFL game......I thought he was fine.
The hamburglers and Simmons of the world are pretty blah and if they're on the field expect this type of line play

And 4 routes on the outside all being vertical... That's fine if the one option underneath works out, but this is an example of Nagy's vast selection of worthless throw away plays. He often has all shallow or all vertical routes, but never a slant, mind you. No, no no. Everyone else in the league does that (and it works), but whatever they do know, Nagy knows better.

That’s why I want Dalton to start. Fields will bail Nagy with his speed and being able to get out of pressure. If Fields starts, Nagy might win another year or two in Chicago, even if they have a losing season, like they will.
