Someone has to fight over all that unincorporated territory. The bears and eagles and wolves have to be converted to baseball too.
I've seen this many times before. I love it. I do wonder where they got their data from to form it.
My wild-ass guesses would be a combination of fan surveys, Nielsen ratings and merchandise sales tracking.

Isn't Indiana pretty big White Sox territory?
Northern Indiana seems to be. The rest would seem to be split between the Cards/Sox/Reds/Cubs IMO.

I'm a Cubs fan because I'm not old enough to be a Wrigleyville bar fan yet.
I think NW Indiana is probably split down the middle in terms of Cubs and White Sox fans.
