Battle of Five Armies... No spoilers, I don't believe, enter at your own risk.

While I gave the film a B+ it could have been better. To me, it centered to much around the personal battles and less upon the bigger picture, while leaving out some of the fights I would have like to have seen more of. This one screams for the directors cut or extended version which I'm looking forward to. Obviously, this deviated from the books, but with female elf's having a bigger role this was bound to happen. Enjoyed the film though, non stop action. Almost A worthy.

Fire armies.... like armies made of fire or armies whose primary weapon is fire or some combination of both?

I mean dudes made of fire can't use fire weapons right? they would just light the tanks on fire.... they could use their own bodies I guess but then they wouldn't be using fire weapons.....

Now you've just ruined my day man. I was pumped about Fire Armies!

I am looking forward to seeing that though; but since I patently refuse to pay theater prices to see a movie I suppose I'll catch it in 8 months or so.

As pumped, less pumped, or more pumped than you were for the famed Dragonsaurs?

It can only be 6,000-10,000 years old.... that isn't too old to use right?

According to Tjodalv..I couldnt use something that was 3 years old as an example( in another thread)...So I guess 6-10K is a bit over the line
