Navy tests rail gun. Now we need to put them on MBT's and IFV's and get hand held versions.





Im not quite sure where the superiority in a rail gun lies, other than the fact it would appear it can launch projectiles with much greater force that gun powder, which in turn would make the resulting impact far more devastating.

And quicker. The Navy wants something that can put multiple rounds on target in one minute at up to 100 miles away.
