I'm gonna go pick up one of these games tomorrow. I've never played any of the Battlefield games before. All I've ever played is COD and Medal of Honor, so my question is which of these two is the better buy? Also, how much different is Battlefield from the COD series? Any thoughts, opinions are appreciated.

MW3 and haven't even played it, I have talked to a lot of friends that have played both and all they do is ***** on BF3 and when they play MW3 I usually hear them flipping out over cool shit.

What's the major difference in multiplayer? That's what I'm looking at mostly is the online gaming aspect.

BF3 maps are much bigger. The game play is more methodical/tactical and team oriented. There are tanks, jets, choppers and other vehicles to use.

I haven't played MW3 yet but I'm sure the gameplay and map structure is very similar to other COD games.

If you have never played Battlefield but have played COD I would suggest just buying MW3. I personally prefer Battlefield but it certainly isn't as easy to just pick up and play like COD. Find a friend with Battlefield and play thirs first.

I would buy MW3. If you are just buying the game and not going to be teaming up with people who know what they are doing, that's the way to go. It's a lot easier being a "lone wolf" in MW3. Battlefield is much more realistic and is a LOT easier when you have some buddies in a squad or 2 that know what they are doing. MW3 is a lot more user friendly and allows you to get better on your own, once you know the maps.
