Any ideas on how I could watch this for free on my TV? Netflix only has the old version and Amazon Prime charges 10 bucks per season.

You need to read my question in full. I don't want to watch it on my computer, I want to watch it on my TV. So its not just a matter of going to Youtube and punching in the show title.

Or Chromecast if you need to stream it from PC to TV over your home Wifi.... Google Chrome can allow you to play MP4s on the local machine and then cast that video to the Chromecast connected to the TV via the Chromecast app.
Or if your TV has USB ports you may be able to just download all the show episodes and throw them on a flash drive or external hard drive, connect it to the TV and play them that way. At worst you could get a 50$ DVD/Blu-ray player that can play raw video files off of a USB drive and use that.
Lol I explored all of these options at one point or another.
