We play the Patriots this sunday at Soldier Field. Personally I am not a fan of the team or organization but I love the balance they have. They distribute the ball well and it will be hard to cover. I just read this on Wes Welker and was blown away, this guy is a monster.

In High School....

As a running back, he scored 80 touchdowns (53 rushing and 27 receiving). As a defensive back, he had 190 tackles, 22 interceptions (three of which he returned for touchdowns), and nine fumble recoveries. As a punt returner, he scored seven touchdowns. As a kicker, he scored 35 field goals and 165 extra points; his longest field goal, 57 yards, actually exceeds the personal best of current Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski.

WOW.

Yeah...this game is gonna be tough...but it's nice to know going in that our boys aren't scared. They'll go in hard, and if they lose, sobeit, but they'll fight to the finish regardless.

I fear Brady, no one else.

Bears would target Brady without issue. We expect him to be issue always, but we need look at other players also. Wes Welker would be more problematic for us if we don't watch him carefully. I was looking at the stats between Wes Welker and Tom Brady.

quick stats for Wes Welker (2010) 72 YDS 672 AVG 9.3 TDS 7
quick stats for Tom Brady (2010) 27 INT 4 YDS 3,029 RTG 109.5

They have to contain the YAC. I think the Bears are athletic enough to tackle Welker and Woodhead.

What makes you think that? They weren't athletic enough to tackle jahvid best.
Bears have to play near perfect sunday.

They were more out of position.. I'm not sure if those giant runs to the right had the Bears in nickle or not, if not that was fault of whichever guy was playing SLB partly being out of his gap.. and Chris Harris I saw make a bad inside jump and get himself out of spot.

They need to stay in their gaps better but not perfect, they need to force turnovers is what they'll need to do to win the game.

for cryin' out loud dude!! it was one game...and really 2 plays. they held them to 3 points and under 50 yards in the second half. Best had like 2.4 ypc if you take away the one play.

As long as Rod Wilson isn't on the field, I agree with you.

Brian Urlacher, Julius Peppers, Major Wright and Lance Briggs make me think that. Best got lucky on a couple of plays, otherwise he was made their *****.

My mom could have rushed for a 100 yards against the Bears in the first half of that Lions game and she's 73 years old. They weren't out of position they were blowing tackles.
