Chicago Bears Make Headline Hire for Defensive Coordinator Position

The Chicago Bears interviewed a few candidates for defensive coordinator. They hired a coach with familiarity of the Bears.

Only upside imo. I think it was a solid hire. He’ll definitely help the defensive line.
Was the Bills assistant head coach this season. Given the injuries the Bills had to endure this year, I think that staff did a tremendous job.

If they hired an experienced DC that DC would have called plays....

Washington is an up and comer....probably will call them in 25 if the group is still together.

I agree. And as long as he can give input on defensive plays, then it’s definitely a win. And as long as Flus listens to his input, so he can tweak things for the better or even play call better in different situations.

Biggest mistake is when someone stays with what they know only and doesn’t open up to new ideas. You don’t have to change your ways. You just have to listen to new things to see if they can help you tweak your game to a higher level. Always continue to learn and listen.
