I'm just saying I doubt you think Pace, Fox, Gase, Fangio were incompetent decisions. That's the last 3 years. Besides, there's no reality where McCaskey isn't selecting someone to make the decisions. I'd love for the Chicago community to own the Bears as a non-profit, like the Greenbay Packers, but how you going to get them to sell the team?

NFL rules prohibit any other team from being publicly owned like the Packers. And Congress may have even passed some similar authorization, at the league's request. Can't have the NFL going all "socialist"! Fans might get all uppity.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Illinois Fighting Illini
This will never happen.....but if we don't have a change in ownership......we're gonna be in for more mediocrity in the yrs. to come.

The worst part? Pace may have potential to be a very good GM and, after looking at how this team is run, may want out too....

Let's not let Pace off the hook and martyr him just yet . . . The guy is 12-and-32 just like John Fox . . .
