Aren't Golliday and Robinson a little redundant in the ways they like to play like the year we had Marshall and Alshon? I guess if you only go three wide with them and Mooney it should work but its a concern.
I think I'd only be okay with this if we trade Robinson
Good point. Just remembered Tyreek Hill plays in the slot about half the time with the Chiefs so maybe if they sign Golliday they plan on that being the next step for Mooney.I posted this in a thread the first time we were discussing golladay.
Arob/Kenny play the same position. Neither of them or mooney are slot guys. I guess mooney has the potential to be one considering his skill set, but he didn't really play it in college either as much.
Almost like they are trying to trade arob for orlando brown jr and sign Golladay for the savings theyd get from cutting hicks.
just like you trying to sell your tickets
if the going rate for Gollady is currently 12 mil no one is going to trade a pick plus 18 mill for AR.I posted this in a thread the first time we were discussing golladay.

And Arob is better of just waiting a year to sign anything long term, that is the point. You can argue AR is better (I say the same) and has better health, but he sure is hell isn't 6 mil a year and a pick better. It would be a new deal, if anyone traded for arob.....
that should impact his own worth in FA too.I think ARob signed his franchise tag just to fuck over the Bears before they can fuck him over.
If that's the case buckle up for a shitty season from him. He'll make a lot of 'business decisions' that negatively impact the team.

He made plenty of business decisions last year but still had a hell of a yearI think ARob signed his franchise tag just to fuck over the Bears before they can fuck him over.

If I was ARob's agent here's the playbook we'd hit camp with:He made plenty of business decisions last year but still had a hell of a year
Alshon did do that with the Bears, even got PED suspension. Who signed him? The Eagles. Only got two good years from 4 year contract. If I was ARob's agent here's the playbook we'd hit camp with:
- Suit up day one, then get a 'soft tissue' injury.
- Make sure you don't play a snap of preseason.
- Play the first 6 games with so-so effort.
- When that 7th game comes around dispute the teams handling of the soft tissue injury and 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions from people your agent chooses.
That's right, go full Kwahi Lenoard on them.
With 6 games played his year counts towards the franchise tag and he's pretty much guaranteeing himself free agency in 2022 when teams will have $ to throw around.
possibly or his agent told him to quit being a dummy no one has money this year, play under the tag, make 18m and possibly work out an extension or get paid next year.I think ARob signed his franchise tag just to fuck over the Bears before they can fuck him over.
