More small school underdogs.

Hopefully Ben gets Poles to get some beef from Iowa, Wisconsin or Pittsburgh

Slater would be a good pick. He played at T, but at the senior bowl he's playing G and C. Don't look at the conference. Look at the player.

Bears are smart to be looking at him, if that's the FCS player they are indeed looking at.

Minnesota has some interesting slop weather road grading monsters.

Why can’t they just draft from established programs, yes it is that simple. Sick of this smartest guy in the room shit drafting kids from tiny schools who are completely shell shocked by the competition they have to face in the NFL.

We will need a backup for Bill Murray so it's good that we're keeping an eye out for potential diamonds in the rough.

Long as they pick 'em late in the draft... no harm no foul. Take the flyer if you think you see something.

Great to see them leaving no stone unturned. Even Larry Allen who was one of the greatest OL of all time came from the small college of Sonoma State.

Should he be a day 2 option? Absolutely not. However, if he's there in the 6th-7th round, then I'm all for it. If you are taking an FCS player on day 2, it better be Grey Zabel

You mean like Walter Payton from Jackson State?

Wow you had to go back to the 1970s to find a good example?
Becton?

I mean there are plenty but Payton actually played for the Bears and was at one point the all time rush leader.

The best players don't always come from D1 schools. And just drafting from a handful of the top major programs means your scouting department sucks.

Works for the Eagles. So far Walter Payton from 1970s and I suppose you can find a few sprinkled in their in the entire nfk history or the 100s of players from established programs.

Poles and Cunningham think since they're former o-linemen, they can spot the diamonds in the rough.

Meanwhile, other teams just snatch the diamonds on the surface that actually work out.
