Chargers give up on him after 2 years. Should be an immediate red flag, but people will stare at the age and say ‘BuT hIs PoTeNtIaL.’

Below average to bad pass and run blocker. Filled in for 12 games a year ago and Harbaugh only needed to see him start for one game this year. His scouting reports coming out of college make me cringe. He’s gets put on his ass a lot

He’s got great arm length! I’m told that matters above all else when considering OL! (Not bend, anchor, lateral quickness, cerebral awareness to identify twists/stunts/delayed blitzes, hands or footwork.) Arm length matters way more!

He also has a sub-5 second 40! Underwear Olympics stans must be salivating now…

Poles will probably make him a starter and he’ll continue to be ass because some guys aren’t cut out for the NFL.

All that’s missing is his “pre-injured” status and it’s ’bingo.’

Probably just a guy. The real question: is he better than any of the just a guys we have now (including our backup guys)?

There's nothing wrong with what the Bears did here. Where people get things twisted is that there should be zero expectations off of something like this. Let whoever it is just be a guy unless they prove otherwise. Of course, this also goes for the Bears themselves...

This is what kills me about Poles, his lack of truly building a solid OLine especially since he himself was one. I would expect for a guy that's "been there, done that" to get this thing right and he pretty much hasn't... especially in free agency.

Since this probably frees up one of those second round picks we all wanted them to use on an IOL.

Poles can now draft a K @ # 41. :(

I wouldn’t look too deep into it. It’s a body. Possible depth.
