Is he a generational talent?
Absolutely not.
Stop treating him like he is.

He can be as good as 2017-19 Kane imo.
The vision and habits are there. I think he wants it.

He is an awful lot like Kane and hasn't developed his man strength yet. Kane got good at defense and stealing pucks, the efforts were tenacious when we needed them.

He has so much skill and hockey IQ I would have to see him mature his old man strength before I give up on what he can be.

He has too much to lose to be playing in tournaments.

Get him his big contract and he will be available. It was a long season on a young man mentally and physically. Let him go get right and return a demon.

If he fails here it's Davidsons fault for not acquiring Podz, Marner, retaining Hall through injury, and drafting Demigod when it fell right into us.
