I have a personalized ball signed by Mark Grace, my gma got him to sign and mail it to me when I was like 8....Also a Grace signed bat. Oh and two Grace autographed rookie cards. Can you tell Im a Grace fan?

The bat I actually bought on ebay...My grandma lived in Rogers, Arkansas and knew his aunt so she got his address from her and wrote him a letter telling him how he was my favorite and everything and he sent her a ball that says "To Jared Best Wishes, Mark Grace" It might be the sweetest thing anyone has ever done!

Agreed...I dont know how much of that is going on nowadays...There kind of seems to be a disconnect from players to fans

Another nice piece of my collection is my accidental taping of the Kerry Wood 20 k game when I was in 8th grade. I decided I didn't want to miss his start while I was at school and fired up the VCR...that was a nice find too. haha

I bought my bat for I think $80...then the next week I happened to look on there for Grace stuff and there was an autographed game used (cracked) I was pissed!

I am very very jealous of you right now lol. He was my favorite too along with Sandberg.

I also have a Rick Wilkens signed ball laying around here somewhere haha. More of a nostalgic piece because he was the first Cubs player I ever met when I was 7 or so, and it was right after he had his awesome 93 season (but I'm assuming that 30 hr breakout was steroid enduced unfortunately).
