Ive only had Italian beef once in Chicago (many times elsewhere). It was some hole-in-the wall downtown and it was fantastic.

All I used to do to get there was take Western to 103rd.
I gotta try the one on 127th & Harlem sometime soon, just to see if that one is as good.

Duke's Drive Inn. But I think for the most part Chicago you almost always get a great beef, there are some bad ones, but those are far and few.
