Top 5* :)

Until around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning, this list began with a nice, tidy paragraph about Jake Arrieta and Travis Wood at No. 10.
?????

Is Arrieta that good? Or maybe I'm missing something on Travis Wood

Yeah, I'd have to put Kershaw & Greinke ahead of Sale & Topojijio.

I'd agree with that. This brings up something, though, about how the game has changed though for teams making the play-offs. For all of their world class starting pitching, the Dodgers didn't advance because of their weakness in the bull-pen. Most of the teams in the play-offs had 3-5 studs in the pens. Its an entirely different game in the play-offs isn't it? Managers worry about how long to go with a starter in order to "save" the guy if the series goes longer. Starters are looking over their shoulders to see if they might get lifted if they get into any trouble. Pressure gets to many of them. Even Kershaw has a lousy play-off performance. Whole different game.

And I'd agree with that.
