A lot of current undergound hip hop artists were once considered mainstream in the 90s. So with that being said, i'll go Gangstarr- Mass Appeal. Wu's triumph was a great choice. Lupe- kick, push.

recently i was goin thru my ipod, 30G, wich ive had for years, and I deleted all my main stream rap, except for Twista, Notorious BIG, Cypress Hill, the first couple of Lil Wayne mixtapes, and others. I replaced it with pretty much rock, classic rockers, like Hendrix, Zeppelin, also Red Hot Chili Peppers and others. Dumped guys like Ludacris, Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Snoop Dog, Pitbull, Nelly, Kanye, .... I just cant take em seriously.
