Obviously we all love the Cup run, and every game in the playoffs were awesome.

BUT

What was the highlight of the regular season for you?

Mine was the 5-0 comeback early in the season. That right there made me realize we have a great team that will battle for an entire game.

The 5-0 comeback is definitely up there...but doing the trip to Helsinki tops it for the wife and I. That trip edges out "the comeback" only because of the world wide fans we met, running into the players rather consistently around the town (we joked that Kops and Soaps we stalking us because we ran across them sooooo many times), and the start to this great season (and we can say that we were at every 'Hawks home game this season, and only a few of us can say that :p ).

Man so many points. Of the regular season probably Hossa's return, was watching it in a friends garage drunk, cold, and losing it everytime he touched the puck and then he netted 2. Next would probably be New Years Eve when we beat NJ.

In the playoffs other than the obvious OT winners, Buff scoring and posing for the Cafuck fans and Toews getting a hat trick. It was game 2 of the Stanley Cup. Thanks to Tommy I was fucking THERE!!!! Greatest moment of my life attending that Stanley Cup game.

the whole playoffs, so many unforgettable moments in there. the OT winner against nashville being the main one and of course the cup.

from the regular season, the games in helsinki, which i couldn't attend since i am a poor student, niemi getting his careers first shutout in front of the "home" crowd. the 5-0 comeback against calgary. the sharks game where hossa returned and the three consecutive shorties that game.

Obviously the 6th game of the cup series was the best highlite of the season topped off by Kanes GWG in OT. That game was actually one hell of a fantastic hockey game which people quickly forget. One of the better final games I have ever seen and not just because the Hawks were the winners.

Other than that when ever this club beats the Canucks in a playoff series I never forget it. From the days when Chelios owned the Canucks to last year and this year.

Watching the goalkeeping position transpire through the season was a hell of a story and a hell of an up and down ride also. Watching Niemi come into his own was something I will never forget.

Wed night in Philly for me. Hands down the Wildest thing I've ever seen other than the birth of my son.

Regular season had numerous high points. 5-0 win. Kaners heroics in game 5 against Nashville. Obrian and the Canucks...

UNFORGETTABLE YEAR!!!!

How can you top that Kane game winner? The confusion and then the excitement of that goal can probably never be beat for me. I am still having trouble sleeping!

Personally my "moment" was Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals... never thought I'd have a chance to get to a playoff game, let alone a series win. The electricity of the crowd after the empty-netter... just awesome.

Otherwise, one of the other "best parts of the season" was not only being able to share this with the folks here who waited and waited and waited for this to happen, but being able to bring more casual fans like my other friends into the fold in the second half of the season and then deep into the playoffs.

I can't really pick a favorite moment out of this entire season, but sitting here at work watching the parade streaming on my computer...is fricking awesome.

That was a classic for sure. Had me laughing my ass off.

Too many to choose from really.

The Kane goal in the finals seconds vs Nashville. Kane goal in OT to win it all.

Buff blowing up Pronger.

Just too many great moments.

Being at GM Place and watching Niemi shut out the Canucks 1-0. That whole western road trip was unbelievable, the Hawks just about destroyed every team they played on the road trip. Edmonton got shelled, so did Calgary and San Jose. They ran out gas for the last few games but they took no prisoners most nights.

I saw Buffy get his hat trick in game 3 against the Canucks. That. was. awesome.

There were two...that 5-0 game was my first one I attended and was great...

My second was Hossa's first game and the beating they gave SJ at home...that's the first time I really thought the Hawks could win the cup THIS year, I had kind of joked about it before but that is when I believed it was possible...
