I forgot all about Homerun Inn lol. Is Connies still open out there? 93 was last time I had pizza up there, and wasnt impressed. The crust was so thin, it was limp. The toppings were freakin massive to be tasteful. I never had the chance, but my Mom told me about the Stuff Pizza Pie? Were its crust, pizza toppings, crust. Not deep dish, just like a pie. She said back then, 80s, it was the best ever. I so wanna OD on something like that lol.

Too bad the Connie's in Orland closed :( .

When I'm over at my dad's house in Orland, sometimes we'll have pizza from Old Town.

Thin crust: Old Town Pizza Co., Fox's, Rosangela's or Chuck's
Deep dish: Pequod's in Morton Grove
From the grocery store: Mama Cozzi from Aldi

Italian pizza isn't all that great, I've been there. But they are huge for their price. I was a student ambassador back about 5 or so years ago and got a free 18 inch to myself.

If it came down to a choice of Pizza Hut, Domino's or HRI, I'd have sit down and think that one over.

The Gino's East in Oak Lawn banned writing on the walls. Not a year later, it closed. Coincidence?

The only thing I liked about that Connie's was the fact they had Special person waiters, and on hostess that tried to help my friends and I come up with ideas to sneak into Spider-man.

The Gino's East in Orland Park banned the writing on the walls too, but it stayed open like 10 years after that.

I say it's all about Giordano's... It's because of the fresh ingredients!

Italy had good calamari. France was good for sub sandwiches on the best bread I've ever had and jugs of wine to walk around with. Eqypt is good for Egyptian food, haha, don't know what it was but they cooked on the boat while I was scuba diving in the Red Sea. Spain was good for, well, the women. Most beautiful women I've ever seen.
