Umm, I don't think you need an extension for that in chrome ... Chrome > Settings > Show Advanced Settings > Content Settings > tick Keep Local Data Only Until You Close Your Browser.

Firefox keeps chugging along for me, no worries. I like the no-script, and ref control extensions. Waterfox is worth a try also.

Maybe uninstall Firefox, delete your user settings, and re-install fresh?

Still using Firefox here, haven't found anything I like better and don't expect to.
Re-installing fresh as mentioned above sounds like a good idea to me too. Everything (especially apps) with Windows seems to slow down over time, no matter ho much you clean, optimize, turn off services...

Palemoon and Vivaldi IMO are the two best browsers for different reasons. Firefox has gone downhill since aurora and their desire to try and clone Chrome behavior on a platform and rendering engine that operate differently for every release after. Palemoon userbase is basically all fed-up firefox users and Vivaldi userbase is basically all fed-up chromium users. Both are geared more for power users, and you can import your firefox profile into palemoon, also IIRC you can import your chrome profile into vivaldi.

I use Chrome.

PS - I finally played Innerkip Highlands a few weeks ago, it's a pretty cool track!

im running blue moon and its smoother right out of the gates. makes ccs seem smoother for sure..

do you use it? i have to open the browser with the installer exe icon because one wasnt created anywhere. is this normal or am i missing something? so when i go to open the program i get the admin ? security warning box asking if i want to run it. when the browser was opened i even pinned it to the taskbar but it still reacts the same.. i guess i could uncheck it and ignore the warning eh

Palemoon is my bulk use browser. I try most major spins of major browsers and a lot of others that get good reviews. Reason being, I use different browsers for different sites. You can do all your video in one, all your boards in one, all your banking in another, all your pron in another, etc etc.. so many benefit to juggling browsers, including keeping unique bookmarks and profile info strapped to just one. So when I see browser fanboys, especially morons who say they can get one to run but not the other(you have to be a real idiot in that case IMO), I get a chuckle because it's extremely counter productive. Also, swapping profiles in ONE browser install is also less effective, because things like chrome run flash and netflix so much better than firefox, but firefox runs hard php sites so much better, you're missing out on applying that to the user's advantage.

And It didn't create a desktop/SM/TB shortcut, or even give you options? Weird. But yeah, just WINKEY+E to program files/moonchildproductions/palemoon(This is my best guess for the file path, but should be close) and right click on palemoon.exe Create shortcut, drag it onto your desktop or wherever you want it.

I am not saying it is the best web browser, but after doing the Windows 10 upgrade...got to admit that Microsoft finally put out a decent browser.

It's now called Internet Edge rather than Internet Explorer and runs much smoother than any version of Explorer I have ever used.

Again, not saying it's the best browser. Just the best one I have seen Microsoft whip out.

Sounds like you downloaded the portable version. Just go download the full install version.

Edge just surpassed IE as the best browser to go out and get another web browser. :)

Seriously though, my wife uses edge and has no complaints. I use Firefox. I used Opera for a long time and had no complaints there.

With the Windows 10 upgrade...I would say Edge is better than Chrome. Chrome has been slowly getting worse and is down right clunky in W10.

Otherwise, Edge still kind of sucks. Just nowhere nearly as bad as every incarnation of Explorer.

I used Chrome for all of 30 mins.

I'd rather use Lynx...actually I'd rather use Lynx than a lot of browsers.

Firefox is still the most user friendly browser, and is capable of doing anything 99% of you dorkchops are trying to do. Use it and shush.
