Well Sam Smith said that Gordon's agent has been telling people...so it's either Brothers or Gordon got a new agent.
I think this clarifies that no one has any idea whats going to happen yet..lol,but on the same i hand i wouldnt be shocked if brothers have spoken to detroit either.Worst title of an article ever.
Ben comes off sounding like he has one foot out the door in this one.

The Bulls signed Tyson Chandler for $63 million ($10.5 million a year). Tyson Chandler went back to California for the offseason and just loafed there. Reinsdorf flew out to California to meet with Chandler, who was becoming an out of shape potato in the offseason.
Ben Gordon, while being a free agent works out at the Bulls' practice facility. As he goes into unrestricted free agency, he is out there wearing Bulls gear, coaching kids at basketball. This is the guy who has been constantly disrespected by the team.
Here is an example of how Ben Gordon has been disrespected by the Bulls. In 2004-2005, they decide to give the Bulls' Player of the Year Award to the entire team. Okay...makes sense, more so than any year, that was a team effort. The next year, Andres Nocioni averages 13.0 PPG and is named Bulls player of the year. In 2006-2007, they name the entire team the MVP. When in reality, it was Ben Gordon, or at the very least, a tie between Gordon and Deng. In 2007-2008, when Gordon was clearly the best of that pile of crap called the Chicago Bulls, they give the award to Joakim Noah.
Then this year, Gordon, again, is undoubtedly the best player on the Bulls. What do they do? They change the year end award to a Community Award, and give the award to Tyrus Thomas.
The other obvious disrespect is the pulling of the contract, Reinsdorf telling people at a graduation that he won't re-sign Gordon, and Reinsdorf's disrespectful lecturing of Gordon to lecture him to be professional.
We go out and reward Tyson Chandler, a couch potato...a SIXTH MAN, but we don't even let our best player, a class act, who works hard during the offseason, and who is helping the kids, sign a very reasonable contract of $9 million a year?
If we're not willing to re-sign that type of player, you have to question the direction of this team.

BG is BG, he's never changed. He works out hard everyday, plays the game he loves, acts professional on & off the court, & is always willing to talk to the media & fans. This is a guy who should be the Captain of the team. This is a guy the whole city should love but unfortunately it hasn't happened that way. You couldn't ask for a more professional than Ben.
And in all honesty, for the way he's been treated by this organization, certain fans of this organization, & the media world, I understand why he'd have one foot out the door. I'd be running out it! And thankfully I've been preparing myself for this day for almost 2 years now, so when he is in Detroit scorching us for 40pts in a game, the sting won't be as bad.

Thank you so much for posting that. I couldn't believe it when Joakim was named POY last yr. His own teammates voted to suspend him an extra game! Pax has always liked Ben. I'm betting Gar has too. I don't feel their relationship is the problem. It's Reinsdork. He has no realtionship with him at all. I think the only time they speak is once a year. And that's the guy holding the paycheck & ultimately making the decision. And for some unknown reason he does not appreciate the best & most professional player on his team. I would love to think GarPax could talk him into it, but I just don't see it happening now.
Good luck to Ben wherever he ends up.
