Well, that's the proof I need. He will be gone.

Anytime I have read anything about a player wanting to resign with the team they sign somewhere else.

yah pretty much. Don't often hear someone say "nah i don't want to re-sign with this club" esp during a stanley cup final appearance. :icon-wink:

I believe Bickell when he says it but that really doesn't count for that much. Money always talks...why wouldn't it?

I hope the Hawks can afford his raise. I think he has had his "Bi-fooglien" awakening.

Byfuglien called Bickell after gm1 and said..."nice game. Let's meet for a snack"

I'm pretty sure they've actually already talked back and forth. Wouldn't surprise me if he were resigned, but at what cost is the question.

There is enough money with Stalberg/Emery gone and the two buyouts.

Yes, enough money for one year or two years but beyond 2 years, he does not fit cap wise.

Depends. Bolland will be gone. Figure JT and PK will get 6 more mil. All depends on where the Cap goes. By the looks of the lock out, lack of reaction from the fans, the Cap will continue on the rise.

Cap better go up because nothing is changing when guys like Striet are looking for 6 mill a year and Gonchar is being signed at 5 mill per year.

Lock out will end up solving nothing.

I think everyone can see Stally will be gone. With Q constantly scratching him here in the playoffs, it seems like he is pushing him out on to Madison. With a cattle prod.

id like to see stalberg back. His speed is good in theregular season, he just needs to remember how to play a little nastier like when he was scratching to get off the 4th line his first year here--for playoff hockey; throw his body around. HIs speed naturally helps that, too.

yeah but he did hit a bit more before this season. Cant remember is last year or year before (short term memory loss HEH HEH)

wonder if he'll get desperate adn work on that aspect, his speed would help big impacts if he didnt charge and learned how to coast into a lined-up opponent better...

Stalberg has not impressed this post season at all, part of that is his lack of ice time though. It's going to be a rough off season just like after 2010 but I think we will keep more than we expect.
