We merged the big ten sports forum and the all sports forum. And we moved the all sports forum to under the Sports Category. Big ten forum wasn't used enough, and the all sports forum wasn't either. Hopefully this move will encourage more views/posts in there.

I also moved the Tipping Competition from the Bears forum to the Leagues/Games forum in the off-topic area.

How about also combining the NFL Rivals forum with the Bears forum, considering the traffic has died down in both areas since the Bears season ended (and the Rivals forum functioned mainly as the CCS Recycle Bin)?

No, the Packers havent lost yet.

I agree with this. Threads created in the NFL Rivals forum create almost no discussion. The OT threads created in the Bears forum create good discussion... until they're moved to the NFL forum. Then they die.

I can't believe you are still a mod here. You're like the token white guy at the bottom of an NBA bench...someone other posters can look to and think "Yeah, I could do that".

If the masses want to wade through the forum like that then that's cool. Whatever makes people happy.

Well, idk how most people feel... but considering that a lot of people continue posting OT threads in the Bears forum even though they know there's a NFL sub-forum, I'd assume they don't mind it being in the Bears forum.

Maybe you guys can try something different. Like let an OT thread stay in the Bears forum if it has X amount of Posts in X amount of time. If it doesn't, then it gets moved to the NFL sub forum so it doesn't fill up the Bears forum. But if an OT thread gets a lot of posts in a short amount of time while it's in the Bears forum, I don't see the point in moving it. Obviously people don't care that much and they're talking about it. Moving it just kills the discussion.

We kind of already do that.

There are OT threads that get moved immediately. There's no chance for a decent discussion to even start. Or there will be like 10-15 posts in it and it gets moved shortly after...

X and I often leave them there for awhile depending on the topic and if it gets out of hand or not (or repetitive). If its an thread bashing the Green Bay Packers, Matt Stafford, or something like that, I pretty much move those immediately.
