Interesting stuff, if you get a chance, listen to it, but here is a synopsis of their Bulls talk.

1. Clippers organization wanted Deng, but Sterling wouldn't make the move because Sterling really thinks the Clippers are getting Lebron.

2. Lebron not only is unafraid of Jordan's legacy...he is attracted to it. Lebron found out Jordan's favorite spot to eat postgame in Chicago, which is Gibson's. Jordan had a favorite table and waiter. Ford said that when Lebron found out, he sat at Jordan's table and used Jordan's waiter and has ever since. Ford found out and sought out the waiter. According to the waiter, Lebron told him that he can reserve that table for the future because Lebron was coming to Chicago.

3. The only obatacle is really not Cleveland, but Riley in Miami, who might be able to pull off a pep talk that could get Lebron and Bosh to join Wade. Otherwise both Ford and Simmons believe Chicago is the only choice for Lebron right now.

Very interesting stuff...

If that post made you smile, something I have never done, and may never do again...I have accomplished something...

I can cross that off my bucket list...

Now if I can post and make Stig smile, Kush admit that "Houston is a friggin sports thinktank!" and go bungee jumping (too fat, scared the rope will break) my bucket list will be complete and I will die a happy man...

I don't think the waiter part of that story is relevant as an indicator that he's coming here or that he's unafraid of Jordan's legacy. I think both of those things are true, but what does this prove? If I had the money and the knowledge I'd want to eat at Jordan's table with his waiter too. Also, LeBron could just be trying to excite the waiter and/or establishment by saying he's coming. It's not any sort of commitment, and he definitely enjoys the attention.

I'll be happy in a week when James signs with us and we don't have to listen to these anecdotes anymore.

I found the story interesting is all, so I posted it. Others on this forum have stated that Lebron was afraid of Jordan's legacy. Many journalists (Stephen A. Smith, Peter Vecsey, Jay Mariotti) believe he is intimidated by Jordan's legacy.

Ford's opinion was "those people don't know Lebron"...I believe those people want him in New York with the exception of Mariotti who doesn't want to see Reinsdorf suceed in anything...

I'm just growing numb to all these stories. Your effort is certainly appreciated, though.
