Blackhawks head out West for a mini two game road trip and will take on the LA Kings. The Kings will feature their new acquisition Jeff Carter; Carter will be reuniting with his old teammate from the Flyers, Mike Richards. The Hawks will be looking to spoil the reunion party by getting back on track after suffering a loss to the Dallas Stars. With the Hawks sitting in the sixth spot they cannot afford too many more losses with only twenty games remaining. Toews and Hjalmarsson will not make the trip because of upper body injuries….wink..wink.
