I tried to find information from other places on the internet after finally just admitting defeat and realizing it's probably better if I just ask other IHN members.

For those of you, like me, that live in the Indy area, are there any Blackhawks' bars? I mean I can find the game on at a sports bar if I ask them to put it on, but I mean, are there any bars where Hawks' fans meet up and watch games at?

If so, someone please let me know. If not, us Indy people should organize something.

Try the Wild Beaver Saloon. I've never been there and have no idea if they show Hawk games, but I couldn't resist trying a youtube search on "Wild Beaver".

I'm not sure I feel good about introducing this to others.

Have fun, but be careful. No DUI. Don't do anything to mess up current or future relationships.

Everytime I'm in Broad Ripple (Indy's main bar district) and I walk by the Wild Beaver, I always feel like those entering it that evening will regret that decision.

Honestly, I'm not sure you'll find any "official" bars in Indiana. Your best bet would be Buffalo Wild Wings, otherwise you'd have to find a local bar that happens to love hockey and the Blackhawks.

I figured there wouldn't be an official bars, I was just wondering if there was a bar where Hawks fans were already meeting up.

Gotta love the Police Academy reference.

Indiana is basketball and racing-- and the Colts until Manning retires.

I've been to Indy dozens of times, and have had to rely on internet feeds because no one in that city wants to watch cold steel on ice.

I know this post is old but I am trying to see if we can't get an Indy group together to watch a Hawks game or two every month. I know there are plenty of us here as I see many Hawks jerseys at Ice games.

What I am thinking is that we meet once or twice a month at either a regular bar or a traveling spot. I am in Carmel but for this I will go anywhere.

Any interest? Post here or email me at hawksfan@pro3media.com and lets see what we can do.

I'm not sure how many people you'll find lurking here that are in the area, but it's a great idea. Road Road watches... hah

It's always nice to see hockey fans from Indiana (since Mass and I are both from there).

Just don't organize the watch during any sort of basketball game, cuz you ain't gettin' it on the tube.
