yup. seems in the past i've just got them from reps at games and they show up in the mail.

got a pair for me and the mrs but not exactly sure we will be able to attend since we'll have a 5 month old at home. 99% sure i wont want to venture away from home at that point for a weekend so i'll probably have my pair for somebody at some point. that is if they even mail them, there was no option to have them delivered, just picked up at will cal, with valid ID.

I enjoy hanging out with my Blackhawk brethren and it is also a good reason to get in the city and spend the night but I find myself less and less interested in attending. For the few sessions that I attend I find it

to be a bother to get there and the cost factor, mehhh.

I'm iffy on going this year. I enjoy the seminars, but I'm guessing I could watch that stuff online.

Kitty's on Saturday Night is a must, however, and I may just show up for that.

I'll be there. I've been to 6 cubs conventions and it's a great time. They screwed up our rooms 1 year but made up for it by giving us a Suite. Can't imagine the hawks convention being much different. It gives me an excuse to take off a weekend from work. plus buddy guys is right across the street. And don't forget Harold chicken shack. Can't wait.

I went to the Cubs convention one time and went to Harold's as well. It was a great time. I think I'm gonna go.

I probably won't attend again until they move it from that terrible venue.

I stayed at the Hilton the first convention and swore I would not stay their again.

Last two conventions I attended and stayed elsewhere (Swiss).

Strange. I've had nothing but good service there. One Year they messed up our connecting rooms so they made it up to us by giving us a suit and a connecting room to it. A few of the people I know who go stay at the Essex but only because of the price.

I think he meant more the Hotel is a shit hole, which there is no denying, it is.

Maybe there will be LESS fans this year, they rearrange how they do the seminars, which would help the experience, but there is NOTHING that will help that Hotel other than a real good DEMOLITION!

I do not mind how old it is as long as they have an adequate ventilation/ heating/ air condition system.

The humidity in that place is horrendous.
