Surprised no one is talking about the Blackhawks convention coming up. It is going to be my first time. I was not able to go last year but this year I am so pumped!!

I hate to say it, but with the economy, it really depends on how they finish. I'm really disappointed with the team this year and especially the GM. Kane and Hjalmarson's contracts compared with Ladd and Madden, really piss me off. Yes, everyone knew there were salary dumps after the Cup run, but they made the WRONG choices on who they offered millions to and who they dumped.

Oh, as for the convention... I've never had any interest in it. Not really interested in getting autographs or hanging around a ton of people on Toews jerseys. Have fun though- I don't want to come off as shitting on your fun.

I've never been to one before, so I'd like to go just to see what it's all about. Unfortunately I live in Springfield, so it's not really an economically-viable option for me.

I went last year, and its pretty neat. It was pretty crowded and I dont know if its something that is really different year after year, so unless I get free tickets again I may sit out... but not something I have really thought about while the seasons still happenin
